Terms & Conditions
Version 2026-09-24. The identical text is shown in full inside the app, which requires acceptance before play.
Play safely. This game is played by walking in the real world. Never play while driving or crossing roads, and never enter private property to reach something in the game.
1. Operator
3D Print Corner · Anastasiia Miroshnichenko, Ehrenbergstraße 8, 10245 Berlin, Germany. Contact: coffeeonchainsol@gmail.com
2. What Weird World is
A location-based game. You walk real streets to open loot crates, fight monsters, capture real-world buildings on an in-game map, join clans, chat with your faction and mint hero NFTs. Walking is measured by GPS and, if you allow it, by your device's step counter. Some features use the Solana blockchain and need a wallet; you can also play as a guest without one.
3. You must be 18 or older
The game is for adults. It is not available where blockchain games, digital assets or NFTs are prohibited, including countries subject to OFAC sanctions.
4. Accounts and wallet
You are solely responsible for your wallet, its seed phrase and its private keys. We never receive them and cannot recover them. A guest account is tied to a key kept on your device — clear the app without connecting a wallet and it cannot be recovered.
5. Real-world safety — your responsibility
- Never play while driving, cycling or operating machinery.
- Watch your surroundings. Traffic, kerbs, water and construction sites do not appear on the game map.
- Do not trespass. Nothing in the game grants permission to enter private property or restricted areas.
- Obey local laws and signage, and respect other people's privacy and peace.
- You play at your own risk. A route on the map is not a statement that it is safe, legal or passable.
6. Capturing a building grants no real rights
Capturing is a game mechanic tied to map data. It gives you no ownership, tenancy, licence, access right or any other legal interest in the real building or its land, and no right to enter it. Building geometry comes from third-party map data and may be wrong or outdated.
7. Photos and clan logos you upload
- A photo you attach to a capture, and a clan logo, can be seen by every other player and is served at a public web address.
- You must have the right to use it, and taking it must have been lawful where you were.
- No identifiable people without consent, no private interiors, nothing sexual, hateful, unlawful or infringing.
- Every upload is checked automatically for sexual content before it is stored. The check runs on our own server; no outside service sees your image. If the check itself fails, the image goes up unchecked, and we remove it when it is reported to us.
- You grant us a licence to store and display it in the game for as long as the capture or clan exists. When you replace a photo or logo, only the new one is shown; the old file stays in our storage. Deleting your account deletes the photos on your buildings; a clan logo stays with the clan.
- We remove content that breaks these rules, and repeated or serious breaches are handled under section 9.
8. Clan chat
- Clan chat is a group conversation with everyone in your faction. Treat anything you send as public to that group.
- Chat is operated for us by Cherry (cherry.fun), which processes and stores the messages. Your wallet address is your identity there.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, spam, scams or links to malware. No sharing of other people's personal data.
- Never share your seed phrase or private keys. Nobody from Weird World will ever ask for them, and anyone who does is stealing from you.
- We and Cherry may read, remove and retain messages to enforce these rules and to comply with the law. Breaches are handled under section 9.
- Leaving a clan ends your access to its chat; messages you already sent may remain visible to the group. Deleting your account does not delete messages held by Cherry — ask us and we will request it.
9. Fair play and how we enforce it
Faking your location (GPS spoofing), automating movement or gameplay, modified clients, running several accounts to farm rewards and bug exploitation are prohibited. Off-GPS passes and hero perks are the only sanctioned way to play without walking.
- Automatic checks only ever withhold a reward. Movement faster than walking pace without a pass, jumps of hundreds of metres, very poor GPS accuracy, and steps beyond the daily limits earn nothing: step rewards stop at 2,000 Sparks a day, steps with no GPS movement behind them count up to 3,000 a day, and a Health Connect catch-up counts at most 30,000 steps per day of the gap. They never cost you progress or your account on their own.
- Anything beyond a withheld reward is decided by a person, never by an algorithm, and follows these steps: (1) a warning; (2) removal of the rewards gained by the breach and a suspension of up to 30 days; (3) permanent removal of the account from our servers. Fraud against other players, illegal content and threats may skip straight to step 3.
- We tell you in the app which rule was broken and what we did. Assets in your wallet are never touched — they are yours.
- Appeal: email us within 30 days of the decision, from or naming the wallet concerned. A person reviews it and replies within 14 days, and we reverse the decision if we got it wrong.
10. Not an investment
Heroes, captured buildings, $SKR and all in-game items are for entertainment only. They are not investments, securities or financial products, carry no promise of profit, value or future utility, and may become worthless.
11. What you buy and what you earn
- Bought on-chain with SOL or $SKR: heroes, walking passes, building captures and some relics. NFTs are minted to your wallet and remain yours whatever happens to the game.
- Earned in play: Sparks, resources, gear, relics bought with Sparks, and hero XP. These are a licence to use game content, not property. They have no monetary value, do not represent any stored value, cannot be bought for money, sold, transferred to another player or cashed out, and are not refunded if they are lost or the game ends.
- One exception is disclosed here so it is not a surprise: buying an Overlord hero also grants a one-off Sparks bonus. Those Sparks are game currency like any other.
- We may rebalance prices, rewards and drop rates. We never do it retroactively to take away something you already hold.
12. Payments
Paid actions are executed by you signing a transaction in your own wallet. Prices come from on-chain configuration and may change. You also pay Solana network fees, which we do not receive. Blockchain transactions are final and irreversible — we cannot reverse or refund them, including transactions sent in error.
13. Rewards
$SKR rewards accrue off-chain and are claimed through a signed voucher against an on-chain vault. They depend on available vault funds, may change or be discontinued, and are not guaranteed. Nothing here is a promise of income. Unclaimed rewards do not expire, and survive deleting your account. If we end the rewards programme we will announce it in the app at least 30 days in advance, and rewards already earned stay claimable during that period, as far as the vault holds funds.
14. NFTs and blockchain risk
Hero NFTs are minted to your wallet and stay yours. Blockchain use carries risks outside our control: congestion, failed transactions, protocol changes, key loss, contract vulnerabilities and price volatility. Lose access to your wallet and your on-chain assets are unrecoverable.
15. Intellectual property
The game, its code, artwork, models and branding remain ours or our licensors'. Map data and 3D building geometry come from third parties under their own licences. You keep the rights to your photos and logos, subject to the licence in section 7.
16. Availability and liability
The game is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; for slight negligence only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, limited to foreseeable typical damage. German Product Liability Act claims are unaffected. Otherwise liability is excluded — in particular for blockchain events outside our control and for your conduct in the physical world under section 5.
17. Right of withdrawal
EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting a blockchain transaction you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge loss of that right per § 356 (5) BGB.
18. Changing or ending the game, and your account
- We may change features. Before we discontinue the game, or Sparks, we will announce it in the app at least 30 days in advance.
- You may stop playing at any time, and delete your account yourself in Settings → Delete my account. Section 20 says what that erases and what it cannot.
- German law applies, jurisdiction Berlin, to the extent permitted. Mandatory consumer protections of your country remain unaffected.
19. Permissions the app asks for
- Precise location — the whole game. Read only while the app is open on screen, to place you on the map, find nearby crates and monsters, and verify that walking rewards were actually walked. The app never asks for background location. You can instead play from a city you pick (Settings → Use my location).
- Physical activity and Health Connect — step count, distance, and exercise sessions (only running is used). Off until you say yes: the game asks you once, in its own words, before any permission prompt or any read. Read on your phone while the app is open; only step totals for a time window and the distance of runs are sent to us, never the individual records. Health Connect keeps the history itself, so on opening the app we read back up to 7 days — but never to before the moment you turned step sharing on. Used only for step goals, step rewards, run missions, and your lifetime steps on the steps leaderboard and your clan's roster; never for advertising. Decline it and everything else still works (Settings → Share step data).
- Camera — only when you choose to photograph a building you are capturing, or use an AR view.
- Photo library — only the image you pick for a capture or a clan logo.
- You can refuse or later revoke any of these in Android settings or the Health Connect app. Refusing one disables only the feature it serves.
20. Your data and your rights
Controller: 3D Print Corner · Anastasiia Miroshnichenko, Ehrenbergstraße 8, 10245 Berlin, Germany (coffeeonchainsol@gmail.com). The Privacy Policy linked below is the full account, organised by why we process each item; this is the summary.
- What we hold: your wallet address (or a device-generated guest key), display name and username, game progress, Sparks and reward ledger, captured buildings and their coordinates, walking distance, daily step and running totals, photos and logos you upload, friends and clan membership, and crash reports if you allow them.
- Location is not kept as a history: the last walking position is forgotten 24–48 hours after you stop walking, and locations hidden in crate and monster records after 48–72 hours. Crash reports are deleted after 14–15 days.
- Who processes it for us: Netlify (hosting and image storage), Neon (database), Helius (Solana RPC), Mapbox (maps), Cherry (clan chat), Alchemy (reading Ethereum NFTs, only if you link one), Shopify (figurine orders), Expo (app builds). Route planning and building-site checks are answered by public OpenStreetMap services (routing.openstreetmap.de, the Overpass API). Some operate outside the EEA, under standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
- Who sees what: other players see your name, hero, clan, your captured buildings, your stats on your clan's roster and, unless you turn it off, your leaderboard standing. Nobody sees your live position or where you walked.
- What is permanent and public: anything written to the Solana blockchain — captures, hero NFTs, payments — including building coordinates. It cannot be edited or erased by us or by anyone else.
- Deleting your account (Settings) immediately erases your name, walking positions, step and walking history, the photos on your buildings, and your progress; locations hidden in crate records follow within 48 hours, as for everyone. We keep your wallet address with its reward ledger and crate records, so that deleting and re-registering cannot collect the same rewards twice, and your captured buildings stay on the map — with their coordinates and the name you gave them — as do marketplace and boss-fight records.
- Your rights: access, a copy of your data, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a supervisory authority (in Berlin, the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit). Email us and we reply within one month.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms — for example when a feature is added. Material changes bump the version and you will be asked to accept again the next time you open the game. The current version and date are shown at the top of this document, and the canonical copy lives at the link below.
